What our grooming covers
The core service is a bath with pet-safe shampoo and conditioner, a full brush-out to clear tangles and loose undercoat, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Add-ons cover the seasonal stuff Knoxville coats collect: de-shedding treatments in spring, dematting for the long-haired crowd, and flea treatment when the yard wins a round.
We work slowly on purpose. A dog who gets rushed through their first groom fights every groom after it; one who gets breaks and treats usually naps through the next visit.

Grooming that fits around sitting
Because grooming lives inside a pet-sitting company, it schedules differently: your dog can get bathed during a day-sitting stay, or we can drive your pet to and from their appointment while you work. Come home to a clean dog instead of a Saturday errand.
Cats groom too — mostly brush-outs, dematting, and nail trims, handled by the sitters our cat clients already know.

How often should my dog be groomed?
Short coats do fine with a bath every 6-8 weeks; doodles and other long or curly coats need attention every 4-6 weeks to stay ahead of matting. Between grooms, weekly brushing at home does more than anything we sell.
Do you groom cats?
Yes — brush-outs, dematting, and nail trims, with sedation-free gentle handling. Full lion cuts we’ll assess case by case; some cats tolerate them, some emphatically don’t.
My dog is scared of grooming. Can you still help?
Usually, yes. We book extra time, break the groom into short rounds with breaks, and stop before panic sets in — even if that means finishing over two visits. The goal is a dog who tolerates grooming for life, not one perfect session.
Do you use natural grooming products?
We use gentle, pet-safe shampoos and conditioners chosen for skin sensitivity, and we’ll happily use a product your vet has prescribed — just hand it to the sitter.
